Please join us in prayer and share with your friends to pray for our country. It is not too late to jump right in with us. We are in the homestretch and need your prayers! Each day going toward the election we pray for a different issue affecting us as individuals and our United States of America in this season. As we heal individually we can come together united ‘for such a time as this!’ Today we pray For Courage
Day 8 Prayer
Pray the Word
Father, we stand in one accord, raised up ‘for such a time as this,’ to war for God’s Kingdom and God’s people. We come in agreement as we approach the 2016 Presidential Election that we heed Your counsel which stands forever. Your word says “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13) Father we thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who laid down His life for our salvation.
Father God, we stand on Your word that we would ever be on our guard; stand fast in the faith; be a people of courage; and be strong. Despite what happens around us, let all that we do be done with love and reflect Your love for us and through us. As we stand in this season, strong and of a good courage, we thank You, the Lord our God, that You go with us; that You will not fail us or forsake us. Lead, direct and guide us daily and in the upcoming election to reflect Your ways and not the ways of the world.
Equip us to be strong and very courageous, that we may live and vote according to Your word. Let us not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that You may prosper us as a people and as a Nation wherever we go. Let Your word instill courage in us and not depart out of our mouth. Let us meditate on it day and night, that You may do according to all that is written therein. Make us a people, strong and of good courage; not afraid, neither dismayed. Thank You, Lord God, that You are with Your people wherever we go. Strengthen the hearts of all who hope in You. For Your word says, “I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” Thank You for Your never-ending faithfulness.
Keep us ever steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as we know that our labor is not in vain in You. Let us be strong in the Lord, and in the power of Your might. Let us not be confounded in these times. Let not our hearts be troubled. Let us walk in courage and not be afraid for You give us a peace that surpasses all understanding and overrides every evil work.
We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from You and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. For You have not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
With so very much happening around us in the world, we stand firmly on Your word and we do not fear. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. For we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but we have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Cancel any attempts of the enemy through lies and deception. Let us not be deceived by those who continually sow discord for their own gain. Open our eyes and remove any veil that would keep us as a Nation from seeing Your truth as we move toward this election.
Work in our individual hearts and connect us in unity that our works will be pleasing unto You ‘for such a time as this.’ Keep Your protective hand on these United States of America. Give us Godly wisdom and discernment to vote in the coming election. We pray for the land where we are planted. We pray for our leaders. We thank You and pray for all around the world who stand praying with us in this season. We pray all this in Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.
May we, God’s people, arise united in our Nation, in this season to the fullness of God’s call.
Keep the Word
“I sought for a man to stand in the gap.” Ezekiel 22:30
40 Days in the Gap
As we approach these 40 days leading up to the Presidential election it is incumbent for each and every Christian to stand in the gap for this country. Our Nation now more than ever needs consistent, diligent and strategic prayer cover.
Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, and for all Constitutionally qualified in our Nation to register and vote with Godly direction.
A Little History
Since the inception of Esther’s Warriors Ministry in early 2008, we have strategically prayed for the healing and safety of United States of America. Just as Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people, we go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).
God promises us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Holding our country in prayer keeps our hearts focused on seeking God for our safety and future.
Discern the Times
This election is unlike any that has come before in history. Freedom itself is at stake. We stand on the precipice today as we approach the election with the opportunity to vote for the change that could bring back the America of the Constitution of our forefathers.
This is not Democratic or Republican. This is about the United States of America. There are many who are set on ‘changing’ who we are as a Nation and have been systematically removing the rights of Christians. Islamic extremists are a growing threat to our safety and way of life within our very borders. Remember 9/11, Ft. Hood, San Bernardino, Orlando, Boston, NYC, NJ, and the rise of mall shootings with ties to Islamic extremism. Remember Benghazi.
May we turn back to God as a Nation and once again stand united. United we will stand together in this season. These are still our United States. Let us join together that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’
