40 Days in the Gap-#Pray for the USA-Election 2016-Day 7-Rejoice

Please join us in prayer and share with your friends to pray for our country. It is not too late to jump right in with us.  We are in the homestretch and need your prayers!  Each day going toward the election we pray for a different issue affecting us as individuals and our United States of America in this season.  As we heal individually we can come together united ‘for such a time as this!’  Today we pray  To Rejoice

Day 7 Prayer

Pray the Word

To Rejoice

Father, we stand in one accord, raised up ‘for such a time as this,’ to war for God’s Kingdom and God’s people.  We come in agreement as we approach the 2016 Presidential Election that we heed Your counsel which stands forever.  Your word says “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)   Father we thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who laid down His life for our salvation.

Father God, let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You.    Let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let God be magnified.”  Glory in Your holy name.   Let the heart of those who seek You rejoice.

Having been justified by faith, we have peace with You through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand.  We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

We are called to come out from the world and to be set apart. We are called to be a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, God’s special possession, that we may declare the praises of You who called us out of darkness into Your wonderful light.  As we rejoice daily through whatever the world may bring to our door, we serve as a witness to Your joy in our hearts.

We rejoice because we know You, we are called by You, we serve You in spirit and in truth.  Thus, we rejoice.  We are the light on the hill to all around us.  We make a joyful noise unto You.  We serve You with gladness and come before Your presence with singing. We enter into Your gates with thanksgiving, and into Your courts with praise.   We are thankful for You and we bless Your name.  For You are good, Your mercy is everlasting and Your truth endures to all generations.

We stand in this hour rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.   Though we have not seen Him, we love Him, and though we do not see Him now, we believe in Him. Grace us to greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory. Let each heart rejoice in You, because we trust in Your holy name.

For those called by Your name, surrendered to You, we rejoice that our names are recorded in heaven.  We rejoice always before You.   Now may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before You.  Yes, let us rejoice with gladness.  Let each spirit rejoice in God our Savior.

Give us tender hearts to rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.  Let us ever rejoice in the Lord for this is a safeguard for us.  The joy that we have in You nourishes us in our journey and through us soothes the journey for others.  This is the day You have made.  Let us rejoice in it and be glad!

With so much negativity swirling around us in this season, let us rise above and walk in the fullness of the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

Let us keep our eyes fixed solely on You and Your word to us, not on the words of the world.  Let us rejoice in this life that in the end we may hear, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’

Cancel any attempts of the enemy through lies and deception. Let us not be deceived by those who continually sow discord for their own gain.  Open our eyes and remove any veil that would keep us as a Nation from seeing Your truth as we move toward this election.

Work in our individual hearts and connect us in unity that our works will be pleasing unto You ‘for such a time as this.’   Keep Your protective hand on these United States of America. Give us Godly wisdom and discernment to vote in the coming election.  We pray for the land where we are planted.  We pray for our leaders.  We thank You and pray for all around the world who stand praying with us in this season.  We pray all this in Jesus’ name.  Amen and Amen.

May we, God’s people, arise united in our Nation, in this season to the fullness of God’s call.

Keep the Word

“I sought for a man to stand in the gap.”  Ezekiel 22:30

40 Days in the Gap

As we approach these 40 days leading up to the Presidential election it is incumbent for each and every Christian to stand in the gap for this country.  Our Nation now more than ever needs consistent, diligent and strategic prayer cover.

Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, and for all Constitutionally qualified in our Nation to register and vote with Godly direction.

A Little History

Since the inception of Esther’s Warriors Ministry in early 2008, we have strategically prayed for the healing and safety of United States of America.  Just as Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people, we go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).

God promises us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Holding our country in prayer keeps our hearts focused on seeking God for our safety and future.

Discern the Times

This election is unlike any that has come before in history.  Freedom itself is at stake.   We stand on the precipice today as we approach the election with the opportunity to vote for the change that could bring back the America of the Constitution of our forefathers.

This is not Democratic or Republican. This is about the United States of America. There are many who are set on ‘changing’ who we are as a Nation and have been systematically removing the rights of Christians.  Islamic extremists are a growing threat to our safety and way of life within our very borders.  Remember 9/11, Ft. Hood, San Bernardino, Orlando, Boston, NYC, NJ, and the rise of mall shootings with ties to Islamic extremism. Remember Benghazi.

May we turn back to God as a Nation and once again stand united.  United we will stand together in this season. These are still our United States.  Let us join together that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’
