40 Days in the Gap-#Pray for the USA-Election 2016-Day 5-Endurance

Please join us in prayer and share with your friends to pray for our country. It is not too late to jump right in with us.  We are in the homestretch and need your prayers!  Each day going toward the election we pray for a different issue affecting us as individuals and our United States of America in this season.  As we heal individually we can come together united ‘for such a time as this!’  Today we pray Endurance

Day 5 Prayer

Pray the Word

Endurance

Father, we stand in one accord, raised up ‘for such a time as this,’ to war for God’s Kingdom and God’s people.  We come in agreement as we approach the 2016 Presidential Election that we heed Your counsel which stands forever.  Your word says “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)   Father we thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who laid down His life for our salvation.

Father God we thank You for You are good.   Your steadfast love endures forever, and Your faithfulness to all generations.  More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.

In this season, grant that we walk with endurance, with a character befitting Your chosen people and with limitless hope in You.  May we be strengthened with all power, according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.  Let us rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation and be constant in prayer.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at Your right hand. Let us ever consider Him who endured from sinners such hostility against Himself, so that we may not grow weary or fainthearted.

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. May You, the God of endurance and encouragement, grant that we live in harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus.  We repent for the division we have allowed to seep into our hearts, our families, our churches and our Nation.

And we know that for those who love You all things work together for good, for those who are called according to Your purpose.  We count it all joy when we meet trials of various kinds, for we know that the testing of our faith produces endurance.

Let our endurance have its full effect that we may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. It is for discipline that we endure. You call us sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we endure. Let not our hearts be troubled. Equip is to believe in You and in Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Raise us up, Lord, to pray without ceasing as we approach this election, knowing that You and You alone lead us and hold the outcome in Your hand.

We fall to our knees and seek Your mercy in this season in our Nation where so much division reigns.  We pray Your heart.  We pray unity and healing for this land in which You have placed us.  Let us not grow weary in standing in the gap.  Raise up countless to come along side us.  Let us endure with faith that defies whatever may be seen in the natural.

Finally, make us strong in You and in the strength of Your might. Convict us daily to remember to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to endure against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the rulers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Therefore we take up the whole armor of God that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. We stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth; having put on the breastplate of righteousness; walking in the Gospel of peace; taking up the shield of faith; the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all endurance and supplication for all the saints.

Cancel any attempts of the enemy through lies and deception. Let us not be deceived by those who continually sow discord for their own gain.  Open our eyes and remove any veil that would keep us as a Nation from seeing Your truth as we move toward this election.

Work in our individual hearts and connect us in unity that our works will be pleasing unto You ‘for such a time as this.’   Keep Your protective hand on these United States of America. Give us Godly wisdom and discernment to vote in the coming election.  We pray for the land where we are planted.  We pray for our leaders.  We thank You and pray for all around the world who stand praying with us in this season.  We pray all this in Jesus’ name.  Amen and Amen.

May we, God’s people, arise united in our Nation, in this season to the fullness of God’s call.

Keep the Word

“I sought for a man to stand in the gap.”  Ezekiel 22:30

40 Days in the Gap

As we approach these 40 days leading up to the Presidential election it is incumbent for each and every Christian to stand in the gap for this country.  Our Nation now more than ever needs consistent, diligent and strategic prayer cover.

Pray for wisdom and discernment for the political leaders, pastors and church leaders, and for all Constitutionally qualified in our Nation to register and vote with Godly direction.

A Little History

Since the inception of Esther’s Warriors Ministry in early 2008, we have strategically prayed for the healing and safety of United States of America.  Just as Queen Esther went before the king to intercede for her people, we go before the King to intercede for our Nation ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).

God promises us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Holding our country in prayer keeps our hearts focused on seeking God for our safety and future.

Discern the Times

This election is unlike any that has come before in history.  Freedom itself is at stake.   We stand on the precipice today as we approach the election with the opportunity to vote for the change that could bring back the America of the Constitution of our forefathers.

This is not Democratic or Republican. This is about the United States of America. There are many who are set on ‘changing’ who we are as a Nation and have been systematically removing the rights of Christians.  Islamic extremists are a growing threat to our safety and way of life within our very borders.  Remember 9/11, Ft. Hood, San Bernardino, Orlando, Boston, NYC, NJ, and the rise of mall shootings with ties to Islamic extremism. Remember Benghazi.

May we turn back to God as a Nation and once again stand united.  United we will stand together in this season. These are still our United States.  Let us join together that we will arise united ‘for such a time as this!’
